Garden Herb Butter

Join in harvesting fresh herbs from an appartment balcony garden to make this homemade Garden Herb Butter. Store it in the fridge for a delicious compliment to rolls, toast, meats, and eggs!

Instructions

  1. Harvest your fresh garden herbs (see our gardening section for growing tips!)
  2. Place a stick of room temperature butter into a mixing bowl
  3. Use an immersion blender to chop herbs while blending them into the butter
  4. Alternatively, use a food processor or blender but more difficult to remove all the ingredients
  5. Shape butter into tray or wrap in plastic for long term storage in the fridge or freezer
  6. Use as a baste for meats, cooking base for the skillet, or a delicious spread on toast!
